Contribute an article that provides practical value to readers. The post requires editorial approval and is not a simple product promotion. A company blurb and backlink may appear in a designated space; accepted articles receive newsletter and social promotion.

Quarterly new-member announcement
New Bronze members are included in OpenCV’s quarterly press announcement of new Silver and Bronze members.

Bronze membership mark

Membership questions
Is membership a donation program?
Yes. Membership is a donation program that supports OpenCV’s open source work. Recognition and participation benefits are offered as a courtesy, are subject to availability and approval, and are not guaranteed.
Does membership include development or technical support?
Membership is not a contracted development or support package. For a development partnership, maintained releases, certified builds or contracted engineering support, explore OpenCV Enterprise. Gold’s consultant-introduction benefit means reasonable efforts to help locate a qualified consultant; it does not include support hours or an engineering service level.
Is Bronze billed monthly?
No. Bronze is US$6,000 paid annually. US$500 per month is an equivalent amount, not a monthly billing plan.
What membership period does the donation cover?
The amounts shown are annual donation levels. The OpenCV team will confirm your membership dates and contribution details when you inquire.
Are webinars, articles and pull requests automatically accepted?
No. Webinar topics and speakers require OpenCV approval, and scheduling depends on availability. Guest articles must offer educational value and pass editorial review. Pull requests remain subject to core-team approval and normal quality standards; priority consideration does not guarantee a merge.
Can we use the membership logo to promote our product?
The tier membership mark may appear on your organization’s website to recognize its support for OpenCV. It must not be used to promote a product or service or imply OpenCV’s endorsement.
What happens after we submit the form?
Your inquiry goes to the OpenCV team at [email protected]. We’ll reply to discuss the tier, contribution and available opportunities. Submitting the form does not make a payment or commit you to a donation.
Will OpenCV remain free and open source?
Yes. Membership is optional. You do not need a membership to use OpenCV under its applicable open source license.
