Extended Submission and Judging Deadlines

- Submission deadline: 9 August 2021 (View The Submission Form)
- Grand Prize and Regional Winners will be announced 6 September 2021
Final Submission Guidelines
Submit Your Project Using The Form
For your team’s final submission you will need to submit a Final Report (PDF) describing the project and solution in detail. Judges will also expect a video demo showing project in action.
We highly encourage submission of source code (and open sourcing of the project!) but if you cannot submit the code, you will not be penalized. Closed-source projects will be subject to more scrutiny from Judges, and will require a Zoom or Hangout video call to demonstration projects live.
To win the competition, not only should your project be technically sound, but the final video demo and PDF report should also be visually compelling and well-crafted.
We also discussed the submission expectation in the first episode of OpenCV Weekly Webinar, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80kEhGSlFE0
Claiming Your Free OAK-Ds
Logistics for ordering your free OAK-D modules are being handled through https://store.opencv.ai.
Team leaders have been emailed store codes for exactly the number of OAK-D modules their team requires (1-4 for General teams, 10 for University teams) plus free shipping anywhere in the world. Team leaders will be responsible for distributing OAKs to their team members.
If you are a team leader and have not received an email, contact us at competition@opencv.org.
Claiming Personalized Finalist Certificates
Credentials for the competition are being sent via Accredible.com.
We have sent emails to all team members for whom we have names and email addresses on file- some teams did not list all member names and emails in our system and we have reached out to those affected team leaders via email.
If anyone on your team has not received their credentials within 48 hours, please contacts us at competition@opencv.org with the subject “Missing Credentials,” and include your team name and your full team roster in the email.
Finalist Badge
You can use this official finalist badge to share on your social media channels with the #OAK2021 hashtag.
