This week in Italy two OpenCV related events take place. Firstly ECCV 2012 on 7th October  in Florence provides a tutorial about OpenCV for mobile platforms.

Secondly on 15th October University of Rome hosts a seminar on computer vision and robotics. The tutorial gives an overview on the OpenCV libraries and some vision algorithms as well as further development of vision applications on mobile (Android platform). It also explains the operating system and the components of ROS robotic vision in robotic applications. The event includes a demonstration session and a session Q/A.
