OpenCV celebrates its 20th anniversary this summer. It’s a very important milestone for the development team, and we are finalizing open activities, fixing reported bugs and closing documentation gaps to meet the anniversary in good fit. OpenCV is a community-driven project, and we invite all library users and contributors to participate in Virtual OpenCV Hackathon on the first week of February (February 2-9). The hackathon is aimed to stabilize the library functionality and finalize open pull requests.
The exact scope of the hackathon (the list of open issues we will be working on during the hackathon) is being refined now. You can choose one or more of the issues with the label “Hackathon” on which you will work, or propose another issue that you would like to fix. Feel free to ask questions in OpenCV Google Group and participate in Github discussions.
