OpenCV 4.4.0 has been released!
Release highlights
- SIFT (Scale-Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm has been moved to the main repository (patent expired)
- Improvements in dnn module:
- Supported state-of-art Yolo v4 Detector and EfficientDet models
- Many fixes and optimizations in CUDA backend
- Obj-C / Swift bindings
- BIMEF: A Bio-Inspired Multi-Exposure Fusion Framework for Low-light Image Enhancement
- Added Stroke Width Transform algorithm for Text Detection

Most of bugfixes and improvements have made their way to both 3.4 and master branches.
